Whoa, there's a naked woman reflected in Dick Cheney's sunglasses!

We always knew the Vice President got up to no good when he took in the outdoors, but one suspected it would be no more harmless than shooting a friend in the face.

But look at this! This is an official White House photo taken on a fly-fishing trip on the Snake River in Idaho -- and, wawaweewa!, you can see a lady shimmying in Dick Cheney glasses.

At least, a lot of people see a lady in his glasses. Blogs on the left and the right, as well as photographers' forums, have been scrutinizing the picture during the past week. At first glance -- especially given Cheney's lustful leer -- many suspected something far more fishy than trout.

McLatchy newspapers called up the Vice President's office to get the scoop on what really goes on at Dick Cheney's fishing trips. A spokeswoman said, "Clearly, the picture shows a hand casting a rod."

And she's right. If you look at higher-quality version of the image -- also on the White House's Web site -- the truth comes into focus:

Dick Cheney is not looking at a naked woman -- that's just Dick Cheney's hand on his rod.

Hehe, he said "Dick's hand on his rod."
